Principal's Message
St. Colmcille's Junior School is a parish school and is guided in all its work by the Catholic Ethos. We aim to provide a safe learning environment where every child can develop their talents. Our message to the children is to always "Be The Best That You Can Be" in and out of the school environment. Children can excel in many different areas and we try to help each other reach our full potential.
We have a committed staff where we cherish and foster our Irish culture and endeavor to create an atmosphere where cultural and religious diversity is respected. We aim to foster the important values of respect, honesty, courtesy and consideration of others.
We have strong community links here in Knocklyon between the parents, Carmelites and indeed the parishioners and long may that continue.
We aim to provide all of our pupils with the highest standard of education through our varied curriculum. We want to provide a very enjoyable, happy experience here in St.Colmcilles JNS as the children start out on their educational journey.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
David Curtin
